It’s no secret that stag weekends involve plenty of booze, partying and naughty antics! However, when you’ve entrusted your ‘best man’ for the job of planning your stag do, who knows what kind of trouble you’re going to get into?
Most of the time, when it comes to stag weekends, the less you know the better! That being said, not knowing anything can also be a little scary, especially when it comes to what your future wife might say if you return home with a shaved head or a tattoo.

Set some boundaries with ‘the wife’
Sure, she’s not your wife yet but she’s going to be very soon! With that in mind, it’s best to keep her on your good side before the wedding day or she might leave you at the altar!
Understandably, she might want some boundaries in place when it comes to top stag weekend activities that prove to be popular. For example, she might not be comfortable with the idea of you having a stripper and her wish is her command!
Prepare for lots of booze consumption on stag weekends
Let’s face it, the whole point of a stag do is to drink until you drop! However, we must stress that you should proceed with caution as you neck your body weight in beer and vodka shots.
Stag weekends tend to reach a whole new level of crazy but we’re pretty sure you don’t want any trips to A&E that could ruin the party. Therefore, don’t forget to line your stomach properly with some good food to soak up all the alcohol.
Plus, instead of just non-stop drinking all weekend, why not mix up your boozy antics with some exciting daytime activities such as clay pigeon shooting, paintballing or quad biking?

Know that you’re going to get bullied!
As a groom, a stag do is really all about you. Whether it’s for better or for worse, it’s unfortunately inevitable that you are going to be subjected to some harmless bullying and become the subject of pranks, forfeits and games ALL weekend.
We really can’t say what this might involve but don’t be surprised if you find yourself wandering the streets in a mankini or eating one of the hottest chillies in the world. After all, just remember that it’s all part of the fun!
Fully expect strippers
When you think ‘stag do’, by default you also think ‘stripper’ because it’s just a given. When it comes to strippers and stag weekends, some grooms are up for it but some aren’t, especially if the future Mrs has made her opinions on it clear.
If it’s something you’d rather avoid, then it’s best to chat with your best man to get a good idea of what he is planning. As long as you respect your partner’s wishes and boundaries, a stripper can often be the highlight of stag weekends.
Play dress up
If dressing up is on the agenda, it's best just to go along with it! Let’s be real, no stag do is complete without fancy dress or an offensive T-shirt. So join in the fun and make everyone laugh!
